My Lecturer suggests I use Google Scholar to search for Articles. How do you access?

Answer

Google Scholar is an excellent platform for online access.

As a William Angliss Student/Staff, it is recommended you access it via the link provided in the Library website Homepage, as this will ensure that any results that display the "WAILRC" link will be available in full-text.

  • Here you select the Electronic Resources option.
  • The next step is to select the Databases option.
  • From the list under Library Subscribed Databases, select Google Scholar
  • Note that if you are off-campus, you will see a login/landing page - Just login with your student network username and password.
  • Alternatively, in the Library Website Homepage, you will see a link to Google Scholar directly under the main search box - this is just another way to access
  • You can now use Google Scholar
